No próximo dia 21 de março pelas 18h30, a Biblioteca da FEUP vai acolher o lançamento do livro Verbal Alquimia de Pedro Fardilha Barbeira, aluno da Licenciatura de Engenharia Informática e Computação da Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto. A sessão terá lugar no Piso 0 da Biblioteca. A entrada é livre..
Sobre a obra:
Verbal Alquimia é exploração. Um mergulhar nas brumosas profundezas ocultas do coração. Uma dança, íntima e pessoal, com os Arquétipos do Amor e da Verdade, da Dor e da Realidade, na incessante procura pelos dispersos cacos de um coração pulverizado. Um relembrar da inocência inerente ao Amor. Da beleza escondida nos tormentos e tribulações que atravessa o amante abandonado. Uma redescoberta do Eu através do luto da Separação. Uma individual e solitária Jornada pelas catacumbas da Alma, rumando à Paz Interior pela qual a própria anseia. E uma humilde tentativa de expressar o inexpressável pelas retorcidas abstratas teias da poesia.
Sobre o autor:
Pedro Barbeira, autor de Verbal Alquimia, iniciou o seu percurso nas letras desde tenra idade, vorazmente devorando livros de ficção e fantasia. A poesia, expressão onde explorou os desamores da pré-adolescência, retornou à sua vida após 15 anos de abandono, manifestação exaltada da vivência que deu fruto à sua Obra. Estudante de Engenharia Informática retornado, com um percurso académico pouco ortodoxo, marcado por uma travessia pelas terras do Jazz durante quatro anos, onde desvendou a sua criatividade, descobrindo a importância da sensibilidade e do tato, e desenvolvendo um amor ao ritmo e à melodia, amor esse que explora e distorce livremente nos seus escritos. Atualmente no último ano de Licenciatura, procura explorar a multiplicidade de quem é pela via da espiritualidade, tentando manifestar e transmitir as suas visões pelos retorcidos meandros dos poéticos versos que por si se fazem desaguar.

Launch of the book Verbal Alquimia by Pedro Fardilha Barbeira || March 21st at 6:30 pm || Floor 0 of the FEUP Library
On the 21st of March at 6.30 pm, the FEUP Library will host the launch of the book Verbal Alquimia by Pedro Fardilha Barbeira, a Degree student in Informatics and Computing Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto. The session will take place on Floor 0 of the FEUP Library. Admission free.
About the work:
Verbal Alchemy is exploration. A plunge into the misty hidden depths of the heart. A dance, intimate and personal, with the Archetypes of Love and Truth, Pain and Reality, in the incessant search for the scattered shards of a pulverized heart. A reminder of the inherent innocence of Love. Of the beauty hidden in the torments and tribulations that the abandoned lover goes through. A rediscovery of the Self through the grief of Separation. An individual and solitary Journey through the catacombs of the Soul, heading towards the Inner Peace for which it yearns. It is a humble attempt to express the inexpressible through the twisted abstract webs of poetry.
About the author:
Pedro Barbeira, author of Verbal Alquimia, began his career in literature at an early age, voraciously devouring fiction and fantasy books. Poetry, an expression in which he explored the pre-adolescence heartaches, returned to his life after 15 years of abandonment, an exalted manifestation of the experience that gave fruit to his Work. Returning Computer Engineering student, with an unorthodox academic path, marked by a journey through the lands of Jazz for four years, where he unveiled his creativity, discovering the importance of sensitivity and touch, and developing a love of rhythm and melody, love that he freely explores and distorts in his writings. Currently in the last year of the degree, he seeks to explore the multiplicity of who he is through spirituality, trying to manifest and transmit his visions through the twisted meanders of poetic verses that flow by themselves.
