Provide information to all of FEUP’s academic, investigation and innovation activities. It also aims at the protection and dissemination of FEUP’s cultural and scientific heritage.

Description

The Board of the Documentation and Information Services manages the scientific, technical and pedagogical information resources. It also manages the administrative documentation and the cultural, scientific and technological heritage resources, in a theoretical and functional approach that combine the Library and Archival Science, Museology and Publishing, being the document, the information and its use and management the main focus in the organisational context .

The Services’ Board comprises the Library, Archive, Museum, Electronic Resources and Publisher - each with specific missions, resources and staff, but working together in an integrated practice, where the new technologies for information creation, storage, dissemination and communication have the main role.
